The SEE Ashford organises Open Tournament every year on Saturday in the first week of March annually and the following conditions are applied.
- The tournament is open to all.
- The entries will be based on a first come first served basis and entry forms and fees will be required.
- The tournament committee reserves the right to refuse any entrant without assigning any reason.
- The decision of the officials in all matters will be final.
- Unless stated all events will be 1 game of 21 points, with no setting. Rally points scoring will be used. After knockout stages, the setting point will be applied.
- If the game ends in a tie, the head to head will decide as to who goes through to the next phase.
- In the case of dispute, players should replay or reserve again.
- Entry is at the competitor’s own risk and the best of their knowledge they are healthy to compete.
- Competitors should arrive and be ready for their match at least half an hour prior to the scheduled time.
- All competitors must report to the registration desk upon arrival and must not leave the hall without the tournament organiser’s permission until eliminated from all events.
- Any competitor not ready to play when called upon will be liable to be scratched or taken off from the list.
- All expenses/lost properties are at sole risk of competitor.
- Final registration for the game may be considered at the door before the tournament commences on that day with valid and genuine reason.
- No entry shall be excluded until after the entry.
- All players should confirm their entry no later than cut off date and time.
Safety: As in any physical sports, there is a risk of injury. Participants are deemed to acknowledge and accept the risks. The organisers cannot accept any liability for damage or injury to person or property sustained by any participant or spectator.
Please be informed that prior to the event, a set of instruction of the tournament will be disseminated in due course of the tournament.
