SEE Ashford (South East England Ashford) is a Badminton club that came into existence since 2013.
Mrs Bimala Limbu, a keen sport enthusiast who is also an Aerobic and a Taekwondo instructor, started learning the badminton. She would book the hall every Sunday, where other families and friends resided especially in South East England, were invited and would also enjoy the training.
With the help of her friends and family, she organized on her own expenses 1st Open SEE Ashford Badminton Tournament on 4th of March, 2017 which was proved to be a very successful tournament.
Since then the club has been running actively.
With the experiences gained in those years, she was very eager to take the club further steps forward forming a proper executive board by identifying and electing suitable committed executive members so that the club would run smoothly.
She managed to turn her dream into reality by forming the executive board on the 1st meeting held in the Stour Centre on Sunday, 7th of January, 2018.
Board of the meeting appointed her as a President of the club even though she expressed her intention that she would fully support anybody who would be elected in the post of the president.
