1st Open South East England Ashford Kent Badminton Tournament 2017 was held on Saturday, 4th of March, 2017 in John Wallis Sport Hall, Stanhope Road Ashford, Kent TN23 3HG (England).
There were six categories:
a. Men’s Single and Double
b. Women’s Double
c. Mixed Double
d. Veteran’s Single and Double
The event started at 09.30 hours as scheduled which meant to finish by 17.30 hours. Although the event had to be extended by three hours due to the high volume of participants, it had been very successful as everyone seemed to be enjoying.
At the end of the event, all Winners and Runners up trophies were presented by Mr Shreeprasad Limbu, ex-Chairperson of the Sagarmatha Gurkha Nepalese Community Ashford Kent, and Official Trophies by Mr Lokjit Gurung, Chairman UKNBA. Final result of the tournament can be found at the end of this report.
